We added a 2013 Genesis Sedan to our collection
I have been very impressed with Hyundai/Kia line over the last few years and there really really solid cars now. I have a 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid for 3 years and 73k miles and it has never been in the shop for repairs.
My wifes Land Rover 02 just had one to many issues so decided we would get her a newer car. We found a CPO Gensis sedan for a steal of a price 18,999 with only 37k miles (warranty till 60k) which is a lot of car for the money...We really like the 2015 but those are starting near 40k. I also drove one and it is more sporty vs. luxury like the older model.
Current cars
2005 Corvette - 705hp - modified
2010 Camaro - 500hp - modified
1992/2000 Topkick 5 ton dually - modified
2012 Kia Optima Hybrid - modified
2103 Genesis - no mods yet haha

I like the looks of the outside better than the inside personally.

Had a loaner Hyundai sedan with the nice 3.8 liter engine. It was very very quiet.
I believe your wife will be happy. I do also like the styling of the latest version and it comes with AWD too which in the north east isn't a bad way to go.
Best of luck with your new ride.
