WOW... what a dream garage!

How do you like the GT4? How does it compare to the C7? Which seats did you get with the GT4?

Well I've only had the GT4 for 24 hours so it's hard to say how it compares to the C7. The GT4 cornering grip is amazing due to the sticky tires. I got the regular sports seats, not the track seats. After I have GT4 broke-in, I'll try to remember to post a good comparison.

Past experience - On the track and at autocrosses, I do prefer the Z51 C7 over my 'old' 981 Cayman S. But on the streets, I preferred the Cayman as more "fun to drive" around town.

The dealer near me wanted $140k for one. I saw it up close and it looks like a fun car, but not for that much.

No kidding... the cheapest one on eBay right now is around $119k, a used one I might add.

I ran into a local at a race shop who ordered a GT4 and it came with regular seats; he bailed on it and bought a beautiful red GT3 instead. Surprisingly, the Porsche dealer was not happy with him.

That's what I paid for my GT3 - if that is your budget, I will bet a lightly used GT3 can be had for that kind of money.

I love my GT4 (got it for MSRP a week and a half ago, ordered it 5 minutes after Porsche formally announced they were making it), but if I had to pay $140k, I'd be getting a GT3 for sure.

Absolutely ridiculous ADM's.... here's one from GA. Pre-owned! Crazy stupid to pay that price for a 92K sticker when it was new. Nice but no thanks!
