Not much of a race, 918 gets smoked bad. Porsche has less HP and more weight but IMO they should done one from a dig just to give the 918's AWD an opportunity to close the gap some

In the one race it appeared to me that the Aegra R shut down to allow the 918 to catch up and pass just to humiliate it again

Yep. Its racing a Veyron Vitesse. Destroys it. These cars get so little credit. All anyone ever talks about are Veyrons and Ferraris etc but these Koe****seggs are no joke. Gawddd the sound that twin turbo V8 is intoxicating as well.

Correct, I have followed Koenigsegg for awhile now.. Amazing what this 21 year old kid, with no engineering or automotive experience or heritage, accomplished. Put off by the big 3 supercar makers as a crazy enthusiast... who's laughing now.. incredible

how the one:1 is made, keep in mind a twin turbo 5.0 liter engine, amazing

I wonder how many members here are aware that the Koenigsegg is running an in-house designed twin turbo coming from a from a Ford modular V8 in their cars?

I certainly did not but it is true.

I've always liked the Koenigsegg, since they used the 4.6 DOHC V8 from Ford for the engine in the CC8S.
