Ford GT to Cost $400K
#21
I'm willing to be open minded about the V6 and this car's potential, but until this car does "decimate" I feel the V6 is a compromise. For 400K, a buyer shouldn't have to settle for anything. JD

I think this car will destroy anything in it's price range and will be comparable with today's hyper cars ala Porsche 918,McLaren P1 & LaFerrari. All of which are $1Mil+.

Huracan already can out do the Aventador for 1/2 the price. It isn't always about performance sometimes it is just about having the more expensive car to show off.

I wouldn't want a 400k car with a V6 when cars like the 488 GTB will be coming along first for 100k+ less and a TT V8.
Part of driving / owning a car like that is the rush, the experience, the feel, and the SOUND. I don't think the performance of the V6 will be at all detrimental, I think it will be in these other areas.
It doesn't really matter, because when it's limited to 250 units / year I'm sure they will have no problem selling them all.

Ouch. That's higher than I thought it would be.

I'm sure the performance will be on point, but as another poster said you are paying exotic car money, I would like exotic car sound, feel etc etc.
Comparable to P1, LaFerrari and 918? I don't know about that one.

$400k? give me a f'n break. Never in a million years. Would buy a 458 (488 now) over this any day of the week.
The Ford GT is a $200K car at most.

If the prancing horse on the front is worth $200,000 just for the badge then go for it. Ignore the brand and your comment looks absurd.

Are you actually trying to suggest that his prejudice towards a Ferrari over a Ford is unfounded? Come on man. JD
