Thought this might be a valid post as unfortunate as it is to demonstrate downforce, or the lack of it...

Yes, balanced downforce across the entire vehicle is very important for high speed driving conditions, but I would expect Nissan to have critically factored downforce in to their extensive engineering program for the car. I wonder if something else went wrong?

This class hasn't embraced the mandated technology that the higher classes are required to have to avoid air getting under the vehicle
Unfortunately this is a case of incompetent aero design with a bad ruleset and a race organization that should be reprimanded for not forcing rules to deal with what has been known to be an issue for over a decade. LMP1/2 cars for example were forced to change the aero design to avoid becoming airborne. See here:
