Haha exactly i'm 32 and every time i see another guy driving a vette, he is usually near 50 .

Hey i see you're also from Michigan. You know any good open roads with very little traffic where i could take my car and do some performance runs? Or just some awesome driving roads?

Near 50? I'd say over 50. I'm 65 and buying my first Corvette.

Always thought the same about Cadillac, too! I will never see myself owning either one. Back in the day people burned Draft Cards. Heck, we should burn our Birth Certificates.

thats the problem with the OP NOT saying which C63 model he has.

the NEW C63 only comes in 4 doors for now, and looks very underwhelming.

which one does he have ?

to be honest, If i was old i would not even want to be driving a corvette. To me the corvette is a head turning , sports car that will get attention on the road from other performance cars/random people. Not something i want at a old age. I want something classy, luxury etc...

I am 23, no kids and no plans for kids for years, no student loans, no other real bills. I drive a cool car at the age where its the most fun, and most important.

I plan to grow old in a Aston martin.

A couple years ago I whipped a C63 Sedan at Bradenton Raceway in my Flex. He turned a 13.2 ( his best run all day) and I turned a 12.96. Best part was my reaction time was almost a second better and I beat him by about 6 lengths!!!!

They are really nice "Old Men's" cars, especially the sedans. A good friend of ours has a C350 coupe.... He is in his late 70's! Interestingly, his wife want's a new Corvette. Doesn't have issues getting in and out like she did in her recent 350Z.

Personally, I like the E Coupe better as it is almost the same size and has much more rear seat room, for not a lot of money more in AMG trim.
Another friend has one of those. Fantastic looking interior!

The folks in my Corvette club are great people but I feel the same way. Even at 48 the only thing I have in common with most of these folks is our love of Corvettes. Most of the senior members are closer to my parents age then mine. Again, they are really nice folks, just wish there was not that generation gap.

Good luck with the C63. Enjoy in good health and hope to see you back with a Vette at some point.

After having owned a couple of Mercedes, I wouldn't own a C63, but I would certainly lease one. Same with a '15 Corvette. Fantastic cars, but needlessly complex. If they develop a problem it costs a lot to fix it. And woe to you if it is an intermittent problem -- multiple visits, multiple failed attempts to repair, and you pay for their mistakes.

Oh ok, will check it out sometime. I also live in west bloomfield, nice to see someone here from west bloomfield!

I plan on going to milan this summer. Sometimes i just wanna go out and do some runs without having to drive an hour or so.

Wish we had some canyon roads here in Michigan

I bought my first new Vette when I was 20. It was a 1966 Coupe!
On my 4th. And no... I'm not a baby boomer by 2 months! However, I have many young friends who appreciate hot cars as much as I have over the years. I have much more in common with them than I do with many Vette owners, including one friend who is on his 40th NEW Vette. He just drives them, knows little of the mechanical details.

You will love your C63. Sorta why I got rid of a Vette and a GTO and bought 2 G8 GT's... But then I got the "ITCH" again...
