Default FS: '66 Ford Mustang GT Hardtop, 289/4v, 22k original miles! Full records

22,700 Original Miles...in private collections since 1976.
Full Documentation including original title from 11/65
All Original Books, Keys and Factory Window Sticker...Preserved
VIN #6F07A145986
Offered for $32,449 (partial trades considered - need a pickup)

Factory Equipment/Options:
  • Wimbeldon White
  • 289/4v Engine
  • GT Equipment
  • Cruise O' Matic (Auto)
  • Black Vinyl Top
  • Interior Decor (aka "Pony Interior")
  • Power Steering
  • Radio - AM
  • Deluxe Seat Belts
  • Tinted Windshield
  • Visibility Group
  • Wire Wheel Covers
  • White Walls

Mechanical Condition/Maintenance:
  • Recent Tune Up (points, orig wires, plugs)
  • Carb Rebuilt 03.15 - Orig Factory Autolite 4100
  • KYB Gas-A-Just Shocks
  • Everything else runs/drives/feels new
  • Most previous maintenance receipts incl.
  • Only thing inoperable is the Fuel Gauge
  • Even the AM radio works like new!

Overall condition:

The condition of this car is a solid #2 plus if you are using the collector car scale adopted by Mecum, Barrett Jackson, etc. The only non-factory appearing item is the paint, which is expected to have been done in 80s sometime. It shines very nicely and flaws are only visible in fluorescent light.
The most remarkable is the interior, headliner, original seat belts, and exterior details/chrome. Restoring a vehicle to this condition even using some reproduction parts could easily run $50-$75k.
A Mustang appraiser I recently contacted who saw the car was blown away it still had the original factory dual exhaust in place!
This car's preservation is in the history and documentation - no disappointments.
Upon arrival to Texas a few weeks ago, I wiped it down, fired it up and drove it to the Space City Cruisers Spring Show. It placed best in class.

Default Great looking car

Very nice ..just have to get the right driver.
Like many who grew up with these all around we all have an option list
to go by when we shop for a car like this . This is the right time of year to sell so just give it a little time..

Not a buyer, but just wanted to throw out there that's one awesome car and collection of docs, records, etc. Top notch. Good luck with your sale.

Really appreciate the positive feedback, will probably push it up to the auction sites shortly and it did hit Hemmings this month.
