This car will be the track day monster to have. There won't be anything remotely street legal that will be able to hang with it short of a 918, P1, etc.

Man that wing looks like something from a car in Japanese cartoon. That thing is ridiculous looking. I like the viper but this thing is hilarious.

It's a track/race model for people who want a track only car. Similar to a GT3 RS. They do make wingless models.

Anyway, will look for a low mileage one in a couple of years after i'm done with my C6Z.

I love Vipers, don't get me wrong, but this thing will be almost unusable on the street. E.g. I bet the front splitter is delivered in the trunk with strict instructions to attach it only at the track. Just a different market. It would be cool for Chevy to make a track special.

FYI they are not "track only" cars, not the RS or ACR. As a matter of fact they are way more street able than most think.

I have 9,000 street miles on my Gen IV ACR. Front splitter extension attached.

Agreed the Gen V ACR splitter is a whole new level.

Viper rear end = absolute ****/drop dead sexy.
Front end = Should be ticketed for littering.

I get the viper, almost no chance the Z will be faster. But its all a taste thing. I can jump in my Z and cruise/drive comfortably. Vipers are more a visceral thing making them less compliant on the road driving situations. I love it for that, but for what I wanted, it couldn't do it for me. It’s a trade off and all about what your taste in cars is. If you’re about an absolute track monster, then go out and buy a Ferrari FXX and bitch about how much the Z sucks compared to it on the track.

Let’s be honest here, 80% of the people on this forum are cars and coffee aficionado’s who want to brag about what their car could do and are completely incapable of doing it; it’s all a pissing match to them.
