2016 Chevrolet Camaro photos leaked
Wow, they certainly didn't think out of the box.
From the article:
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro photos have been leaked. Looks like the car made its debut on CNBC just now, maybe intentionally, maybe not.

This is one of those times when if you did not like the looks of the first one you will not like the new one either........... even if it does take on some good features

Not sure why anyone is surprised at all. Headlight design was leaked months ago. Spy shots all confirmed revised 5th gen style, not something new.
Biggest news will be weight and LT powerplant. I'm going out on a limb to say that the 6th gen will not be out-performed by the new GT in a straight line anymore (GT vs SS which is currently an argument at any rate).

I think the front end looks pretty good, and the rear is okay but the as stated above the exterior has pretty much been out for months. Performance, weight, engines and interior have been the big questions all along.

For a brand new generation of Camaro, this is a total disappointment for me. Looks wise it is very meh. The rear is terrible.
I could go on, but no point. Right now this looks like a missed opportunity to me.

2016 Chevrolet Camaro - Official
From the article:
Don't be fooled by its familiar appearance, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is vastly different than its iconic predecessors. It has a new chassis, a fresh engine lineup, and is loaded with clever technologies that promise to invigorate and improve the sixth generation of Chevy's legendary sports car. It was revealed Saturday before a crowd of enthusiastic Camaro revelers on Belle Isle in Detroit.

The exterior is ok. Could have done better, but it's ok. Too bad it does not have the full led headlights.
The interior is GREAT! The c7's interior looks too boring and simple compared to this one.

Similar nav, armrest, metal surround around shifter, aluminum door handles, same switches, same steering wheel, same LCD screens. The biggest difference is a lack of oh-**** handle, large aero-like vents and larger analogue gauges. The Corvette interior also wraps around the driver where this appears to be flat with the center stack pointing straight back.

The only improvement is the interior...although the door panels have too much going on. Still, the interior is an improvement, but even that isn't saying much because the interior on the last gen was terrible.
As for the exterior, it is a monstrosity. The quarter window and the area surrounding the quarter window as it lead to the back of the car is ugly. Very ugly. Reminds me of the Scion TC. Unbelievable. The roofline is ruined. Give me a 2013 any day.

I'm not impressed at all and I am an old school Camaro guy, as I currently own a 1967 Camaro sporting a 565 ci Dart Big Block, and have previously owned a 1969, 1971 and 1985 Camaro.
I was never thrilled about the looks of the 2010-15 Camaros (too transformer movie looking for my tastes) and I don't think they did much better with the new Generation Camaro, and I am think the horsepower ratings could have been better than this.
Come on GM you can do better than this!
