Eddie FourFather Hill's new company car - 2016 Ariel Atom, Carbon Fiber, Turbocharged
365 HP and 1350 pounds. 7,500 rpm redline, and close ratio six-speed.
This 2.4 liter turbocharged version has SO much more torque in the midrange than the previous 2.0 liter supercharged version that it is hard to believe! And the extra 65 HP over the highest previously available, really shows up in a 1350 pound car!
Thanks for looking.

And yes, there is a sequential transaxle available, but did you notice in the video how quick the shifts are on the standard Honda six-speed?

As far as enjoying the Ariel Atoms and road racing, I really do love both. So much so, that just yesterday my sweet bride Ercie asked me if I had a do-over of my life, knowing what I do now, if I would be a road racer instead of a drag racer. Of course no way to tell that, but I admit it would be a possibility.
The last nine years racing (and to a lesser extent, street driving) these Atoms has really been a blast.
And I really do wish that I had discovered road racing sooner.
Thanks for your comment.

I will have this new 2016 Turbocharged Ariel Atom at Eagles Canyon Raceway Saturday, October 10. I will be glad to show and tell. It is just as it comes from the factory, with all street equipment, fenders, lights, two seats, street tires, etc.
Testing here in Wichita Falls indicates a lot of mid range, in addition to a lot of high rpm power. 365 HP with only 1350 pounds to pull around should be big fun!
