Default 2016 gt350

I've never been much of a Mustang guy myself but I have to admit this new 2016 GT350 looks really sharp. I like the lines, the newer body style (over the older 2014?). I LOVE that it revs to 8,000 RPMS (haven't had that since my RSX-S) and seems like a decent price point ($50,000 or $57,000 with Technology package).

Anyone have any thoughts on these cars? When should we expect to see them in dealerships?

Any idea what their hp and tq numbers are? I've heard "over 500" and "over 400" but no definitive numbers. What about top speed and 1/4 mile times?

Few more facts about the car after doing some research right now:

Exact numbers are:

Horsepower: 526@7500 rpms (redline is 8250 rpms)
Torque: 429@4900 rpms

I agree. Seeing videos on youtube of the car, it sounds insane for being stock. When should we expect to see this bad boy in dealerships? October?

I also agree, the latest makeover looks great and that engine setup is nothing short of exotic sounding/performing. At the current price point it's also a bargain considering the HP numbers and it's handling

I think this is the new "VooDoo" motor I was reading about in Car & Driver, says it is a 'flat Crank" motor, whatever that is but the torque #'s are not that great compared to the HP numbers. Sounds like a high winder though and they say it sounds incredible.
Looks very cool

I'll bet the gt350 will be pushing 600rwhp NA with E85 once the aftermarket gets hold of them. I've owned a terminator (03 Cobra) for 13 years and this is the first mustang I've been interested in since 2004.

Members are posting on other forums their cars are being built next week. Here is the window sticker from one of them.

Actually the torque numbers are impressive for a "high winding" flat plane crank motor. The HURACÁN LP 610-4 makes 412lb/ft @6500RPM's for example while the vodoo makes 429lb/ft at 4750RPM.
