Anyone own a 2015 or 2016 Yukon Denali??
I'm pretty much convinced that I'm trading in my 2008 Hummer H2 for a new Yukon Denali. I have taken one from the local dealer for a few hours and my first impression is positive. I have an opportunity to snag a great deal on a 2015 (over $10K off sticker). Before I move forward I was just wondering if anyone here has one and if you have any feedback?

I hate what they did to the back doors. I love the front, and the rear, but the square doors are just hideous.
Tell me about the Hummer, I've been looking for a while. How many miles ? Good condition ?

It's a 2008 SUV, 45K miles, Solar Flare exterior/Black interior, luxury edition. Every available option you could get in 2008 (Nav, backup camera, roof, rear dvd, air leveling suspension, 3rd row, Bose premium sound). Black brushguard, LE side steps, hard painted spare tire cover. I just had the brushguard, rock slider bars and tire carrier freshly powder coated in wrinkle black. Brand new set of 20" black XD Rockstar wheels with 35x12.5x20 Toyo Open Country AT2 Extreme tires. Truck is perfect with the exception of a crack in the windshield (just happened on Monday). No paintwork/accidents, interior is excellent with no rips/scuffs/creases/bolster wear on the leather. GMPP major guard through May of 2016

i was looking at buying a denali last month, but after reading all the forums, and talking to a couple colleagues who work at dealerships they told me not to touch one right now......big buffeting issues that are creating some major buy backs. I went and test drove one and the first thing i thought was that somebody opened the sunroof without opening another window, after 5 minutes i had the worst headache and felt sick to my stomach. I think GM has a major problem with their suv platforms. Its not affecting all of them but its seems to be a big enough amount to be noticed and discussed by dealers.

It's a tough decision to part with the H2, I have owned 2 of them over the last 8 years (had a 2006 before the 2008). It has been a great truck to own and it's without doubt a head turner. We have a 5 month old daughter and we plan to start working on a 2nd child so the Denali is better suited family duty as we can put child seats in the captain chairs and still utilize the 3rd row. My wife is also about 5'2" so manipulating the infant carrier into the H2 (current carrier base in the center of the rear bench seat) is a little tough for her. The LE steps vs. nerf bars don't help either as it's a big step up. The amount of 2nd row seat room is vastly better in the Denali as well.
In regards to the buffeting..... I didn't notice any, it was quite windy yesterday and while I got pushed around a bit at highway speed (same thing happens in the H2) I never noticed anything out of the ordinary. My drive home from the dealer was nearly 300 miles so I got ample seat time right off the bat.

I'm getting $38K from CarMax (appraisal in hand) and I get to cash in my GMPP along with keeping the stock wheels (between the wheels/GMPP it's another $1200-1500 in my pocket). I would obviously include the stock wheels/tires and GMPP for a private sale hence the $39,500 price.

I had one for about 2 months , Kept getting sick from riding in it , the buffeting was terrible . It was also really tough to see out if in traffic . Just not for me , sold it to Carmax after 3,000 miles
Oh, and wait until the "*** Zapper" goes off when you get to close to something . For me , they really screwed up on this one
