Default The Vette got another 'room' mate.

We traded our 2014 plum crazy Charger SRT Super Bee for a new 2015 Charger SRT with all the bells and whistles. We wanted to upgrade our 4 door car with another one. It's really the wifes car, not mine.

I was real happy with the deal we received. We bought the car at invoice, which was basically paying MSRP as drive out. MSRP was $53,175. It has everything on it except moonroof and the KH radio system, and we didn't want either of these options. Usually Dodge doesn't give any 0% interest or rebates on the SRT vehicles, so I guess I got pretty lucky with the deal.

The color is jazz blue and seems to be darker than the Vettes midnight race blue. Also, some either love the saddle colored seats, some may not. To me, it's an acquired taste that took me a couple of hours to appreciate.

First picture, out with the old, in with the new.

Love the new Challengers and Chargers, but that front camera sticks out pretty well. Has that been there on the SRT since production?

No. That camera is for adaptive cruise control and other safety items.

So did the wife, however the Super Bee was like driving a base muscle car, while the new SRT is pure luxury and muscle with all sorts of bells and whistles. Trust me, if we could've gotten the new car in Plum Crazy, it would've been a no brainer.

The new car is so much safer it's unreal. It has cross path detection and things like blind spot protection. Plus with the 8 speed auto, we're getting about 3-4 miles per gallon better, not that it really matters...LOL

Surprise of the day. The front end of our SRT sits lower than our 2015 Vette Z51.

I didn't see that coming.

I had a curb alert that I had originally bought for the Vette that I installed on the Charger. Works great.
