What car would you buy with $10k?
Just kicking around ideas right now. I enjoy my current daily (Mazdaspeed6) as I missed my old one so much, I bought this one 3 years later! Bought the old one new in 2007 & got rid of it in 2010. Picked the current one up in 2013. I've put a lot of time & money into it and still enjoy driving it, but the urge to get something else is always there.
No kids etc so I could get whatever the hell I want. I work from home, but still go into the office weekly so it's got to be something halfway reasonable for snow. However, I do want another Miata. I could always slap snow tires on it.
Important factor is it has to be fun to drive!!! I also miss being able to drop the top, but that is not a must have. I must have some semblance of power unless it is a light, fun & nimble car like the Miata. No, I have zero desire to buy a Fiat.
Sooooo what would the members of CF buy?

You're in luck! My SO has a '07 Miata, retractable hard, 6sp paddle shift auto, recent brakes and Michelin tires, ~60k miles (low miles), leather interior. Fun, Fun, Fun to drive. Car is located in Chattanooga, TN. She is thinking of getting a new small SUV. Pm me if interested.

If I were still living in CT, I'd probably have an ND Miata and a WRX, you know, for those snow days. Snow tires on a Miata can't compare to even all-season tires on a WRX.

Probably keep what you got, any car at $10K or under is likely to have it's own set of issues, with what you got you already know what you have. Unless you are seriously hurting to get into something else that will likely have issues (which you will have to fix/correct) I would stick with what you got. The Speed6 is a really great all around car for the $$$$
