Are they in production? Price is nice...I could swap my Z51 and pocket some thousands, and gain 2 model years as well. But, where are these cars? I want to hear that exhaust...

If you're talking about trading your Z51, I don't think there is much chance of trading one on a new GT350 at this point and coming out with "some thousands". Demand is very, very high and discounts aren't there yet. Ford is pretty good and capping production on their SVT offerings, so don't (ever) expect any big discounts off of MSRP for these cars.

Melting Slicks
True for the general public...I am a Ford retiree with connections to the Flat Rock plant among other insiders. List price is $49900...current offer on the Vette is near $54k. http://bossmustangsonline.com/index.php?board=19.0 is the place to go for all the best info.

Very likely, in the next 6-9 months demand will flatten and cars should be available for MSRP.
$54k is really good money on a '14 Z51 if it is trade with an as-yet un-negotiated deal.

Burning Brakes
Was interested for a few weeks, lurked the Mustang forums and pretty
well a adm of at least $2-3K, and more likely $5K is the going rate.
So round $60K with a track pack or tech, taxes, license, etc.
Nice car, great motor and brakes, but in the end still 3800# and
only a few notches faster than a GT PP, while costing $25K
more....while the interior is better, still rental car bits and pieces...
That motor and brakes would be killer in a stripped down C7
track car, wishfully thinking.
I still like the car but not pursuing a purchase at this time.
