comparing a bike engine to car engine. pretty laughable

anyways high redline just adds a different character to the engine. very popular with high end exotics.

doesnt mean its faster or slower. I would prefer a peaky powerband like for track use.

It looks like Evolution went 11's in one with some BMR parts and DR's.

That's a Technology Package car. Evolution has proven to be a shifty and sneaky shop, so who really knows what's up with the car. A year or two ago I was pitted next to them at Atco when they were running a '13 GT500. They went out on the internet and told half the story about what mods were on the car when it ran the times it did (interior was gutted, it had a set of Wilwood drag brakes, etc.).

I'd like to see it with an A8 and a taller ring gear. It may really be something.

Ford won't put an automatic in it. They never do with their SVT versions of the Mustang.

Heavy, great sound, like it but don't want. Oddly, my GT3 at 2X the price actually sorta kinda is 2X the car and Porsches aren't value propositions in general. 9000 rpm, PDK and unflappable poise at max effort on track in the GT3 trumps the Shelby, at least to me. But the 'Mericans have some awesome hardware out right now and really do stand up well to the European offerings with the Corvette, Viper, Camaro, Mustang and V-Series.

The fact that people can't talk about a Mustang without comparing it to a Corvette shows just how great the Mustang is.

I like mostly because, as a car, everything is bespoke to this particular car. Mostly. Of course some interior stuff will be shared with other Mustangs but, this performance variant, isn't borrowing parts from other cars i.e. Z28. It's a unique car with actual enhanced parts, not borrowed from another cars hand-me-downs.

I believe the markup will disappear as soon as the spec's for a new gen Z28 are released. At the end of the day these 2 are their only real direct competitors.

I disagree with this concept. A Ford Mustang and Chevy Z28 are two different animals. There's 10's of thousands of Ford Mustang fans salivating at the chance to be the first kid on the block. Once the first kids are taken care of, then the price will come down. Supply and demand my friend.
