While a lot of people are disappointed that all but GT3 911s will be turbo, I think it's a great move. Aftermarket is going to show some healthy bumps in power.

I'm confused on what the 911 Turbo will be called since all 911s will be turbo at that point lol.

Yeap good question. One interesting difference the New 2017 911 Turbo doesn't use VGT like the current Turbo.

Carrera S isn't the high hp "turbo".

I can see it now, all the yuppies will say they have a 911 Turbo. Similar to how every '93 Corvette is a 40th anniversary edition

I think Porsche can still keep the "Turbo" and "Turbo S" designations regardless of the entry level cars being artificially aspirated.
