Default SS with LT1 next year?

I'm looking for a DD, have always loved the stealth of the Chevrolet SS sedan. The current version can be ordered with a manual, very rare, but only comes with the LS3. I think GM still has contractual obligation with Holden to bring these beasts stateside for a few more years. I'd get one now if it came with the LT1. Does anybody have "inside" information?
Thanks,

Not that it means 100% anything, but you can't build a 2016 SS on Chevy's website. The '15's are there, but no '16's. I'd be surprised if they continue with the SS.

GM is closing down the Aussie plant that makes the SS chassis within 2-3 yrs, so I doubt GM will recertify a new engine for a low volume car. If you want one get it now.

The 2016 SS will have the LT1 and it appears to be a direct drop in without watering down the output like the LSx versions of the past. The Stingray guys were not too happy about the same power output .

Edit: Oops, saw "SS" and immediately thought Camaro. I agree, the SS sedan is a nice one. No plans for that one to get an LTx motor that I've heard.
