Are Corvette c6s better cars than Ferraris and Lamborghinis

200k??? That's not as much as you might think. I have a paid for house and make more than that...I am not even close to owning an exotic. It might depend on where you live but I still don't see it on 200k.

I just sold my gated 6spd Ferrari 360 spider and still have my gatted 6spd Gallardo......there is so much misinformation being thrown around here. Basically, if you like the attention(I do) of having something unique and the peace of mind knowing your car is not going to depreciate much with the possibility of appreciation, you will enjoy the experience (if you choose wisely). The newer Ferraris and Lamborghinis are not THAT bad for maintenance if you don't rack up a ton of miles on them. 360 belt changes aren't difficult/expensive and the F430's run on timing chains. Gallardos are extremely low maintenance, especially if you buy a true manual. At the end of the day, I still have a c6 I daily as it is cheap, dependable fun that I can park anywhere without worry.

From a reliability amd cost to run standpoint the corvette c6 is impressive. From a performance standpoint the c6 zr1 is probably superior to the top dogs from Ferrari and Lamborghini....
From a curb appeal standpoint the Italians win out...
Daily drive any corvette is easy....wouldn't suggest many Italian exotics would carry out that out as well.
Base c6 z51 would outperform most Ferrari 360 s and possibly 430 s....not to mention California's....or they are about equal..
Like I suggested running costs are dramatically different....as are purchase prices..
But then So is curb appeal

Yes running costs are alot more expensive but all new Ferraris have 7 year free maintenance w/ unlimited mileage, a 3 year unlimited mile bumper to bumper warrenty that can be extended 2 more yrs for $4.5k/yr, and up to 12yr powertain though dont think that includes unlimited miles.
The new California is pretty impressive being ferraris entry model having 550hp/tq 0-100mph in 7.1 and a little better power to weight than c6/c7. Of course its not like comparing apples to apples as the California costs almost 4 times more. Never the less it would be an intetesting comparison just for the fun of it to see them compete on a track.
Id have both vettes and exotics if i had alot of money as they each check off different boxes for me.

A final example: my most recent purchase is a 2016 Miata. The 2300 lb weight, well designed chassis, perfect gearbox (best manual I have ever driven) result in driving dynamics that are second only to the discontinued Lotus Elise. Right now, I could drive a 991 GT3, MP4-12C, Viper GTS, Scuderia, Elise, CTSV Wagon, and others. My first choice is the Miata and I don't give a rats *** if the ignorant and prejudice call it a chick car or whatever.
