Default FS CA 1967 El Camino custom pic heavy

40k Firm, period. Thats the price

$500 Finders fee paid shows way better in person

Some are a disappointment in person this one due to color and my lack of skills just doesnt show it off right. Really needs to be seen in person, get on a creeper look underneath etc.

Spend time underhood, under dash under the car. More you look more youll see attention to detail and where the money disappeared to. Pull the carpet up if you wish; Nothing to hide no secrets lurking not too many sellers willing to go that far.

Intentionally built to look "plain vanilla" its still a blank canvas so no having to spend undoing stuff.

We can take it out with proof of funds once im convinced someones not just killing time looking to drive a fast car. No proof, no driving period. Doesnt mean I wont take ya for a ride though.

Owned since 95 clean title.

Price is 40k firm period, will wait for the right guy
Car has maybe 250 mi since it hit the road

Never been to the track, dyno no burnouts nubs still on tires. Its fresh period

-10 yr 90k+ frame off

Motor
385ci
True 11.5:1 new GM block .040
All forged, manley H beams etc
Darts ported to 230cc 62cc chamer by Mamo
Jesel shaft rockers, Team G ported heavily
I specd a custom Isky solid roller 260/268@050
My girlfriend can drive it no bucking fouling etc
RCR drive assy cust 80/120 alt by Jones racing
Dewitts rad, spal fan, polished/vented shroud

It is not a textbook build but it works. Not too much low end to break parts or blow the tires off builds progressively as speed/Rpms do. Slighly peaky and fun
91 oct with 33-34 deg 35-6 with some good stuff gets even funner.

Trans
1000 mi GM T56, had Ron at TRC trans in Chatsworth Ca
put hardened parts forks pads upgraded synchros etc in it
Fresh. CF DF clutch F body hydraulics 3" Torino shaft w/spicers. Ripper shifter (hurst is better). Works well

Body
-Most panels replaced, straight as an arrow
-Orig white/red updated to Summit (dupont base)white/coca cola red
-All trim new orig rear bumper all emblems NIB inc tailgate stuff. Smugglers box lid never got done was going to do some out of polycarbonate anyway but have nice ones in case. Zero rust. Only found 2 small spots when I had the body off, properly cut out welded por-15 etc
All new green glass rubbers etc. Still whistles some lol

Suspension
12:1 steering box, large swaybars KYBs graphite bushings SSM bars relocated mounts rear frame reinforcement welded in with provisions for elecpump and filter "just in case". Uses a 172 Carter mech now
Hotchkiss rear new cut fronts. Firm &solid no floating
Brakes are obvious everything new. Polished stainless lines underneath, inc 1/2" fuel to sender Edelbrock traction bars both sides

Interior
All new "Green Glass" that came in AC cars like this one did.
Repop SS gauges (have orig)changed backlighting to aqua/blue tach is temp (simply unplugs no cutting needed) along with temp under dash just to see how accurate in dash gauges are (good)
AC panel in nice shape in box. All new wiring/fuse box bumper to bumper. AC and heat gone put pull vents in case really not needed.

All hardware upgraded list goes on and on

If int post/pm can tell you anything about it every detail good and bad

Very nice. I can't justify $40k on another toy, but I hope you get it. Good luck, dude.

Little dusty just showing its been apart
No need for big or 4 disc brakes it stops well and locks em up easy

AED 850 built by Jeff specd for this motor/car great piece
90s era (usa made) Team G (a real one!)I spent lots of time porting

Summit MSD system w/adj rev limiter hid behind battery vacuum reservoir hidden and tucked up under fender by horns (which were rebuilt along with steering column turn sig etc))

Took the dist right to Bob Jennings put some real bearings in it curved it on a sun machine its perfect NOT locked out

Somewhere on a disc I have pics of every part sandblaseted then prepped/painted thewas sprayed ina booth etc etc Think this oughta suffice
for now

Wasted a ton of money and got a real fun car in return

wordy responses deleted

Look, if youre a flipper please dont contact me.
Yes I know what it cost...did the entire process short of paint and seatcovers/headliner myself from start to finish, yes we all lose money on em lol.

It is what it is, either you love it and dont mind the price or you dont.
Thanks for looking

Bump to the top
To emphasize this car is NEW....nubs on tires, no burnouts just miles checking for "bugs". Its not run hard then offed before something happens. It will never rust in my lifetime lol.

Cruise, show or go smoke a C7. Then dump it in 6th and cruise all day at 120.

On cl....keep saying Ill make a vid just dont have time or the energy
terminally ill
Been sitting on stands for a year. still flawless

Looking at purchasing real estate to leave behind...only reason for selling otherwise it would go the grave with me..and was built to last that long.

Bump....its on the bay now

To answer an often asked question no its never seen a dyno (dont care) track burnout etc. Just cruising and rolling into it once in awhile
Sounds like a cup car

Extremely ill would like to sell to a car guy rather than someone fire selling it for a shopping spree.

This thing is just that much fun and new!

Time is of the essence unfortunately.

Car will cruise all day and make you at how hard it pulls.
When most will lay down (acceleration) in 3rd rides this one comes alive
Yeah its a lot for an old car but they cost SO much to do up these days better to buy one done.

Generous referral $$ paid.
