One of the ugliest cars ever made - with the most smug owners in the world.

What in the world is wrong with Hawaiian shirts? I wear them nearly as often as t-shirts with sleeves cut off.

I will say you guys are a classy bunch.

There is a story behind the purchase - but don't want to waste my time.

Thanks for the well wishes.

OK - apologies. It's been a hellacious 2 weeks of travel. Newark to Dallas to Orlando to California to Ohio to Newark. A 6 hour presentation at each location to about 500 people all while being sick with the flu.

Again - sorry.

Current sitting in CLE waiting to go to EWR.

The story - the airport is 120 miles each way and I go back and forth 80 times a year. When I am not flying my commute is 150 RT. I bought a Mazda CX-5 thinking I wanted a CUV - and at 9 months and 10,000 miles they tell me I need a complete tranny replacement.

I have OCD - so I let them put a new tranny in and immediately trade it in for a new car. I don't want to hold onto a car with a tranny replacement for 200K miles.

I wanted something that got great MPG, was relatively cool looking for a hybrid and decided on a Prius.

It was a flat out even trade - which meant not a penny out of my pocket other than the 8 year 125,000 mile extended warranty I bought at almost 50% off the original price he quoted me.

That's the story

Lol no explanation needed for why a grown man makes a decision. Obviously a prius is great for gas mileage and a situation as you described

for the practicality.

But that thing is almost as ugly as the front end on any new Lexus.
