Because we love cars, 90% of all Corvette owners are a little bit car crazy and reading about a stock 10 sec exotic car that a forum member and corvette owner ran at my local track was cool............very cool.

Besides, who wants to read about your friend?

Will check in the next time I head down there. Hopefully, you'll be there too.
Thanks, your car looked amazing as well! I'm glad to here you figured out how to get the car to launch. Great times.
Yes traffic is reason I left early.
I will try and keep my eyes out for next rental over @ Atco looking forward to the next time!

It's not just you, there are only a handful of car people on this forum, to all the others, if it isnt the newest model corvette,it's junk, the C7 crowd is the worst I've seen, And I've been a member a long time.

LIGHT BURNOUT!

Zero psi foot brake launch on that run at 22 psi of boost and I had approx. 8 more psi of boost I could of dialed in but I knew that the drive train would not of taken it. Car is still in great shape.
You have any plans on selling or trading the GN?
I recently watched a video of a built C5 vs hellcat vs GN, the GN do this day still holds up IMO to the any new muscle car.

I briefly had a GN but it it was built to the point that it wasn't very street friendly(stage 2 motor), there was always something wrong with it.

Most car forums are so used to trolls bashing that they get tired etc....yet trust me...many of us on the corvette forum just dig sports cars...with our personal preference towards to corvettes...

The mclaren 570 is awesome

I enjoyed reading this months car and driver review comparing the GT3 and the 570...

Does that make me a poser? Because I'm not dropping 200 grand on either one of these and still enjoy reading the comparison test?

Can I afford to buy either one? Yes...would I? Nope...

I have an aversion to ridiculous pricing...

Still love these cars...

Odd you should mention that. Due to getting interested in corvettes in 2010 when I bought a Grand Sport to bracket race the Buick has been parked in a friends garage since. The Grand Sport took the place of the Buick in my one car garage.

On Turbobuick"s" web site in the Stage Two section where I covered the TA Aluminum Block build with many pics of the engine going together in my garage, etc. I mention a good while ago that if anyone was interested the car was for sale, well I got a call and it looks like I "may" have it sold. If the deal falls through and your interested pm me. You maybe interested enough to go to the site and see the build, just to see it.

Two pics of many from the TurboBuicks.com site:

Fabspeed dyno'd the 570 stock. 533 whp and 433 wtq. Seems to be making considerably more power than the 562 advertised bhp. There you have it. 625 hp moving 3,000-3,100 lbs.

You forgot to add in drivers weight, it all goes into the HP count in the 1/4.

I own a C6Z & posted in the C7 section of finally driving a C7 & C7Z. I ended my post by saying if I had the $, I'd sell my C6Z for a C7Z today & they still hated me & pretty much snubbed me & said that's cool that you enjoy your C6Z.

Aren't we all on the same team? CAR guys, not just Vette guys. I'd give my left nut for a P1

Really? That's what you said?

Based on what I've seen so far, even if I could afford it, I can't see selling my C6Z for a C7Z for performance reasons. The tech & interior is, obviously, better than the C6.

Congrats, you found a post I posted way BEFORE I drove the C7Z. Are you just bored & trying to pick an e-fight or what?

So lame!!! I bet my friends Top Alcohol Dragster is faster than your friends...

But to stay on topic, I'm on track (road course) in both a 570S and a C7 Z06 on a daily basis and the Mac will run circles around the Vette (which it should). Nice to see it performing at the drag strip as well.
