Z06 to 991 TTS.

Scraping the splitter.
You may scoff at this but what about the new 2017 Camaro ZL1 that is being released next year. It has back seats, will have the Z06 LT4 motor and will be the new kid on the block. The new Camaro is smaller and lighter than the outgoing 5th gen model. It will be a fun car to drive due to the front engine/rwd combo. Obviously it will not be as fast or refined as a Turbo S but it should certainly be fun and cheap as hell compared to your 991.

It is simply amazing to observe how simple some people can be. If you could stop and reflect for one second you may be able to see some reality here. The Z06 at 80 grand will do 95% if not more than some of the cars that cost 2-10 times as much. Its true, whether you believe it or not. Sorry that this concept has obviously caused you such distress. Hope your wedgy goes away soon!

As I read thru many of these posts, I'm starting to conclude I'm really stupid and did a terrible job with my evaluation that caused me to buy a new Z06.
I bought it because....
1) I thought it was a really pretty car and it had that terrific V8 sound with the performance exhaust
2) I thought the Z06 had all the horse power I would ever want or even be able to handle
3) I thought it was priced in an affordable and reasonable range (not that it matters, but I could afford the Porsche, as well)
4) My wife really liked the look of the car...she hated the GTR's look!
Ignorance is indeed bliss, I guess................

Z06 covers a lot of bases , tough to beat at the price.
Back to OP, tough to find a car that will do what a 911 will do...

He's right. A 991TTS will not leave a C7Z -- on the street, on the track, or anywhere else. So, if performance is your goal, there is no need to spend the extra coin. If there are other reasons why you must possess a 991TTS, then great.
In fact, most cars will not leave a C7Z until you step into a Mac at $300k. Now, in the rain, the 991TTS leaves both the C7Z and the Mac because neither possesses the AWD. So, if you live in Seattle, maybe you do need to have a 991TTS in order to enjoy the performance that a sports car can provide. But, for the rest of us, $80k does the trick.

What could you possibly contribute to this thread - since you don't know anything about, or own a 911 TT/S, other than trolling it? This thread is about 911 TT/S vs. Corvette Z06, which you have no clue about...
Stick to your mustangs...since you obviously know very little about other cars, or about life in general.
FWIW, I'm anything but distressed over your comments. I could care less about what you do, say...etc, as it will make no difference in my life. I merely commented on your posts...
I do however notice, that you're not exactly welcomed in any of your posts...I wonder why that may be...

Your comments are baseless, because you don't know anything about 991's besides what you read on the internet!

You got it all figured out as usual. Understanding your need to be right and have the last word I'll give it all to ya or you will be back at it 100 times until someone says Uncle, so Uncle! Feel better now?

Oh and about the 0-60 time you "raved" only about 3944333127543275 times this week... Pray that you never run into a McLaren on the street.. Or anywhere else for that matter..
