For my money the 991 is the best street car available. But it's also far pricier than the Z. It's a better road car in every objective measurement. Styling and sound are totally subjective. The Z owns it's price range but car to car the 991TT is just superior.

I love the TTS and agree with everything you said EXCEPT that sound is subjective lol there is nothing subjective about the sound of the two cars. The vette sounds 10x better hands down and anyone that disagrees go have your ears checked.

That is a very nice color JDC. Is it custom from Porsche?

Not that the 991.1 TTS isn't already a beast but I heard the 991.2 is even more beastly. Guys on 6speedonline that had just tune were running low 10s. Sick car man. Congrats

Awesome, congrats on the new car. What major options does it have?

Nothing fancy. Lane change assist, entry and drive feature, sunroof, ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and light design package. Sure there is something I'm missing, but... I found this on a dealers lot, so didn't get to spec it personally. I can't stop driving it.

I have a few posts over there.

I'm going to keep it stock for a little while, but assume the mod bug will bite sooner than later.

Yup it always does. My buddy had a 997.1 turbo with upgraded VTG's. Intercoolers. Exhaust. And tune. It's an awesome car. We are suppose to race this summer when the stars align. I have a 15 Z51 A8 With ECS kit/meth injection and AR long tube headers. Should be a great run!

An A8 will give you a chance. If your Z51 was a manual, it wouldn't be close. I am amazed how quick this car is off the line.

The only thing my Z06 was at the dealer for was the A8 TCM software update. The leather work on the seats and door panels seems nicer in the Porsche. I suspect that it's a result of noticably more firm seat cushions and console, armrest, dash and doorpanel backing material. The Porsche steering wheel seems cheap compared to the Z06. But the Porsche is very solid and it seemingly does everything very well. Truly a great car. But so is the Z06.

You forgot to mention that Porsche has the greatest transmission in a sports car today, and your Corvette has the worst.
