Default 2015 Ford Escape

My new driver, traded in my 2010 Acadia, was just to big
Escape is the Titanium model, has everything very nice vehicle.

Very disturbing point tho, Has no gas cap, lots of Fords from 2009 up have no gas caps, just the flapper valve like i installed on the vette.
For an old person ( me ) the first time if filled it up a wtf moment at the gas pump.

Anybody else have a vehicle sans the gas cap? Pros/cons?

My truck has one, never had an issue with it. Nice and easy.

I had a 2012 Escape with no cap and it was pretty nice once I stopped being shocked that there was no cap there.

I fix police cars everyday and all dodge chargers and new ford police interceptors have no gas cap, only one had to be fixed yet so personely I find this pretty good as I did change lots of gas cap for evap system leak in the pass.

Update, the" LACK " of the gas cap has been my main concern..

I am old, close to 69.... From some Ford guys, there is Two (2 ) flapper valves to the fuel spillage in case of a rollover, no problems..Deal with it.

Just a sign of the times, adapt to it.. All is well again

When you will have the 9 in front of the 6, then you will say that you are old

These new filler pipe have a great advantage, you wont forget the gas cap at the gas station
