Mr. Regular Calls Cadillac XLR a "Slumlord's Idea of a Rich Person's Car"
The Cadillac XLR has been ripe for the wrong kind of attention since it debuted for the 2004 model year. The idea for a Corvette in a Caddy costume seemed like a good idea, and it looks cool, but in reality, it missed the mark.

Oh sorry my mistake, I thought I was on Corvette Forum. It has to be my mistake because no one would ever dare to be that incredibly stupid to show case another brand of car here!

I love those cars. I've heard they can be a mess electrically speaking....but I'd still love to have one. There's a nice one that is sometimes in the driveway a few blocks from me....and it always catches my eye.

They're literally a C5 with C6 electronics, a Northstar, and a trick roof. And they were the **** when they came out, back when people thought there was going to be a "Cadillac Revival". Then again, some people still think that.
Honestly, the XLR is more true to what the Corvette is now than anything. Corvettes now are old man cruisers, and the XLR was better at that than the Corvette. Funny really.

Ai thought they were nice looking cars...
I didn't care for the interior and the supercharged north stars were a weak spot...in my opinion...
The v s were cool ...I think they had 449 hp...
I think anyone wanting a cool comfortable ride would be happy with the xlr ...but new their pricing was a little high...
Of course as a preowned...their prices were quite reasonable,
At that time...the Mercedes SL with round headlights was a stunning more attractive cars to females..although now the Mercedes SL looks to be a mess for quite a few years. I don't think Mercedes knows what to do with the SL and I believe jaguar has picked up the torch with the. F type,
xLR v compared to recent MB SL s and the xlr v is the better looking car...even with all its art and science stuff...
Mercedes just put the SL in the oven too long and melted that bitch...
The AMG GT convertible coming should be the new leader in the segment...

Always thought it would be sweet to swap the body onto a C5/C6. Nobody would see that coming.
