Ordering a Viper ACR this week, need help.
Just talked to 2 dealers today.
5+ month wait if I order a ACR edition this week.
Anyone know of some of the best dealers, hopefully Midwest or East Coast?
I'm going to go thru the GTC (Custom) order where you can choose 1 of 8,000 color combos.
Dealer said price will be MSRP (No discount), about $143,560.00
http://www.dodge.com/en/viper/customizer/
http://www.dodge.com/en/viper/
I plan to put at least 4,000 miles per year on this car, No garage queen.
Dealer said I can see the car being produced or some chit like that in Detroit. Been there 20 years ago and it was a chithole.
Any advice on what options to add or delete?
Thanks.
P.S. I give a damn about resale. Dealer kept telling me 2 best color options for resale are White/Blue stripes, or Blue/Grey Stripe (like 1996 model or something?)

Viper Exchange has them in stock according to their site. My buddy ordered one. It just arrived but was a very long wait.

I want to Custom Order my paint job, so going thru the GTC program.
I notice your buddy does not have the rear diffuser package or the front splitter.
Or maybe he doesn't drive around with it.
I was planning to leave mine off while street driving.

He took them off. He felt the car was cartoonish enough without them. I would have left them on. It adds to it's maniacal look IMO. It is a heck of a car. You will not be disappointed

I'm leaving them off cause I'm terrified of ruining them on the street.
Car looks badass regardless.
The only people who will know are true Viper fans.
Looking forward to my 1st track day.

Midwest Viper dealer
Roanoke Motors in Roanoke, IL (about 120 miles downstate from Chicago) used to be one of the larger Viper dealers in the country (go figure ). It's been awhile since I was familiar with them, but I know they used to cater to the Chicago high roller crowd, among others. Have fun with whatever you end up with !

Since you asked...
1)Stryker Orange, no stripes (AMAZING Color in Person...AMAZING).
2)Silver with Black and Red ACR Stripe (Terminator Look
3)White with Black and Red ACR Stripe.
In this order.
I would not put standard racing stripes on an ACR.
