Default World's Biggest Muscle Car?

Would you say the 7th gen T-Bird, was perhaps the biggest muscle car of all time?

Facebook Post

Just always had this thought seeing Jack Cassidy chasing Clint Eastwood in The Eiger Sanction (1975) movie, lol.

My dad brought me home for the hospital in a blue with white vinyl top 1975 Thunderbird with white leather interior. Had the 460 4v bought new and had it till 1989 drove it daily till it blew a head gasket and cracked a head.

My vote would be either a Mercury Marauder X-100

Or A Chrysler 300H

Those T-birds were more personal luxury then musclecars.

I'm not sure anyone would include that car in a "muscle car" category.

The Marauder and any rear drive Chrysler letter series car could make a muscle car claim.

The Big Bird T-bird has the short rear deck, long hood proportions that are associated with muscle cars. Later Thunderbirds were too sedan like in shape. Put a blower and some Cragars on that large T-bird and it might make it.

That is not considered a muscle car a car in my honest opinion.

My dad had a 1970 Thunderbird with a 429. That was probably the best year for the 429 with high compression and 360 horsepower, but even that engine couldn't move the car in muscle car fashion. It weighed over 4500 pounds.
