Those are fun rides. Test drove one.

Reminded me of my old Trailblazer SS. Hard shifting 4 speed auto was my only complaint.

I think this is a 8 or maybe 10 speed. Shifts smooth but lots of clunking noises. I figure with enough mods I won't be able to hear it. Lol

Yeah, sounded very "mechanical" to me. I liked the test ride!

Don't know where you are or how much snow you'll see or how deep but, if memory serves me correctly, I instantly thought about the need for a set of 4 winter wheels with some skinnier Blizzaks - if I could find the right size. LOL.

Nice SRT Jeep. Our local Chrysler dealer has one just like it on the showroom floor - very sporty and loaded with options.

Already looking into getting a set. The dealer told me to plan on it.

Moved to a place with no snow... So I can enjoy my cars all year and not worry about salt.

I think all the car loving people should move down south and leave the Prius loving yuppies up north and in California.

Why the he!! would this thread be moved. Are you kidding me?? There is no reason for it to be moved. I'm asking C7 Z06 guys what they drive in the winter. I spent $200 to be a "Gold" member and this is what you do. Unbelievable!!

The thread was probably moved because it isn't specific to the C7Z. You are specifically asking about other cars, which is covered by the other cars forum. The answers probably aren't going to be much different for Stingray owners or even C6Z owners.

I drive a 2015 Z06, but carefully.

Know what? It's still a fun thread with some great answers and interactions. So... thanks for starting it and keeping it going.

Honestly? It matters zero to me, anyway, that we got moved.

And... how DO we get 700+ hp out of one of these bad boys? Inquiring minds want to know. lol

Yup, the Autobiography runs $130K-$200K depending on the year, so it's hard to defend from a value perspective :-) Like our Z, the power is available pretty much from idle, which makes the 510hp deceiving.

I think it weighs 7000lbs (or close) and my best 0-60 is 4.8 seconds, and I don't think you could do that with only 510hp, but I did!
