'99 Porsche 911 Cabrio - Getting Back Into a Vette!
Wanting to get back into a Vette.
Selling my 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, 6 speed.
66K miles, engine was replaced under warranty at dealer at 40K miles with IMS fix, new clutch, flywheel, etc.
Tastefully modded with stainless steel exhaust system (sounds wonderful), wheels, Brembo brakes, short shifter, stereo.
Car drives and runs great with no issues, very fun to drive. The custom shifter has zero slop (never liked stock Porsche shifters), power top with wind block screen.
I don't drive this car often and it's not good for them to sit. They need to be driven!
I bought it from a good friend who bought it from the original owner. My buddy really liked the car too but with two teenagers he needed a bigger car.
There is nothing wrong with this car, I'm just not a Porsche guy. It makes me feel too self conscious when I drive it. I guess I just buy into the whole Porsche driver reputation thing so I feel like I have to apologize when driving it!
I'm more of a blue collar Corvette guy.
Anyway, I'm asking $24,950 or trade for Corvette plus cash or straight across trade for the right car. Car is currently located in Southern CA but registered and clean title from NV (I have a home in NV). Can help with delivery/pick up of trade.
For some reason I can't upload photos so here is a link to my PhotoBucket:

PS: Okay, I was able to upload one photo. Not sure why it will only let me upload one.

That's a real beauty. Best of luck with the sale.
