My vette got a new stable mate last week
I needed a kid hauler and grocery getter so I picked up a 2016 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack. It has a 6.4L Hemi and has no manners on the street. It has a touchy pedal and squeals the tires at the slightest extra pressure. It is a completely different car than the vette. It is a whole lot of fun to drive, and I am enjoying the new ride. Does anyone else have one? Here are a couple pictures:

You got the best bang for the buck in the Dodge line. But, if I looking for a DD/grocery getter I would look at a Charge Scat Pack... 4 doors makes for easy kid mover.
I have a 10 Challenger... Here is pic from my Texas Mile run - 154.9 in the standing mile on a stock 5.7.

My Dodge fairs well with my Z car.
Although not a 6.4ltr it gets around town sufficiently with the 5.7ltr and the kids love it.

I had a black Scat Pack Challenger for a little while as a daily driver. It always amazed me for a car of that size to run that strong. You're right about the tires squealing too. The slightest bit of extra gas and they lit right up. If I hadn't wanted a Z/28 so badly, I'd probably still have it. Cool car to look at too. Handling was a bit sub-par though...but that was to be expected.
