Default How to get the best price on a new Tahoe

If I know the equipment I want, and don't need the "help" of a salesperson, what's the best deal I can get?

I'm a Costco member, and that's usually a good deal, but I've done better by starting off by telling them I'm a Costco member and asking for an equivalent price.

Any magic sauce or advice?

I have no trade, cash deal, will write a check. I don't qualify for any interesting rebates that I'm aware of.

Email a few dealerships, and ask them what their best price is. Try to get the one you like the most or the closest to match the best price. Let them finance you so they can get their finance kickback, you'll save a little bit of money that way too. And don't forget about the different dealer fees places charge.

Chevy does like 20% off MSRP pretty regularly nowdays, so that's where Id start.

just price them out at different dealerships....even different states....maybe buy a left over 16? Also...you can get discount for being a previous gm vehicle owner. There is also a gm credit card that can build up points for $$ saved.

Tahoe/Yukon is a tough car to buy right now. Demand is strong and dealers are not discounting much. I've been trying to buy one for several weeks and haven't connected yet, though with 2017's starting to hit dealer lots in the next couple weeks I expect the October incentives will be better on 2016s. Incentives in August were far better than they are for September, should have bought mine at the end of August when I started looking.

If you are ok with getting a Yukon I would strongly suggest Laura Buick GMC. I purchased my new 2015 Yukon Denali from them last year and got about 14% off sticker without any BS.
