Anyone own an Ariel Atom?
I'm considering the purchase of an Ariel Atom. Anyone out there own one? If so, any comments (pros or cons) would be appreciated.

Eddie Hill, who's on here occasionally as Eddie FourFather Hill, does and he sells and races them too. He'll chime in when he sees this or you could PM him.

I am in my 10th year of Ariel Atom ownership and road racing.
As an Ariel Atom dealer, I have sold twenty-five of them so far, and have two for sale here in Wichita Falls, Texas, and two new ones for sale that are ready to ship direct to you from the factory. Or you can take delivery of one of the ones I have for sale, at the factory, as a no-cost option.
Here is some more info you might find interesting-

This is me running my streetable, two-seat, 2012 Ariel Atom 3 300HP demonstrator/company car, against single-seat race cars. At Hallett Motor Raceway, near Tulsa, Oklahoma.
And at Eagles Canyon Raceway, near Decatur, Texas.
And here I get the holeshot at the start of the Open Wheel final at Hallett, recently.

Huge fun, very low operating cost, excellent resale value, and extremely low maintenance.
Check out some of the Ariel videos on my website www.eddiehillsfuncycles.com
Thanks for looking-

Good god I hate these threads, I want one sooo bad, gotta get rid of a few other toys to make room.
Call Eddie Hill he is thee man. When the time comes I'm going to get mine from him
It would be worth the price of admission just for a demo ride with uncle Eddie.

So much gee in the corners, your neck will be sore! Really!!
But the very pleasant fix is to do it a LOT, and OFTEN!, and get your neck muscles in shape.
It worked for me-

Thanks all. The video clips were great!
At this point I'm trying to learn everything I can about these little beasts. So far it look like they can be configured with numerous power plants from an entry level engine to a 500hp V8, and stick or paddle shift transmissions. Pondering whether I'd use something like this for the track only, or street and track. A run up to TMI AutoTech is in my future for sure.

The top 21 cars in Jay Leno's massive collection- look where his Ariel Atom is listed.

This is pretty strong praise for the Ariel Atom, because Jay has such a magnificent collection of the most desirable cars ever produced anywhere in the world!

Great Gee with Eddie FourFather Hill and his Ariel Atom
Great Gee at Hallett, both Clockwise and Counter clockwise, with Eddie FourFather Hill and his 2012 Ariel Atom 3 demonstrator/company car.
Last weekend at Hallett, I was blessed with finishing second in the Open Wheel final on Saturday, running Counter clockwise, against a field of 13 single seat race cars, and then winning first overall on Sunday, running with most of the same cars, but running Clockwise.
Big fun, and my Atom is ready for the next race, with nothing done to it all weekend but gas added and lug nuts checked.
And, just like the last nine years, my Ariel Atom is always the only streetable, two-seater, competing in the Open Wheel class, a field of single-seat race-only cars.
Cheers,
Eddie FourFather Hill

Here are some pictures of a new Ariel SRA(Spec Race Atom) that is the race-only model, not street legal, that I have for sale, under 55K.
This one comes complete, as shown, ready to race or track day, with no other parts or make-ready needed.
Incredible performance and reliability with EXTREMELY LOW operating cost. At ~1350 pounds, it is so easy on tires and brakes, it does track time at a low fraction of what you have to spend on cars that are a ton (as in 2000 pounds) heavier!
Cheers,
