Very nice! I looked at those but decided on an RS instead. I never dreamed I'd own a hot hatch but they're a freaking blast aren't they?

Congrats!

Deceptively quick and agile and 30 mpg hwy! With a Stage 2 tune callers Turbo downpipe, one can embarrass most C7s...
150 mph too...

Great little cars, I've got a buddy with one. I considered it over my STI, but it was a little too... boring I guess. It doesn't feel raw at all, it's a quick Golf. And there's the whole breaking constantly because it's a VW thing too.

Dang. Very nice! I've always had trucks or SUVs for a daily driver, but I recently picked up a slightly used VW Passat. Obviously nowhere near the coolness and speed of your R, but I think I am now a VW fanboi. I love the Passat and may look into getting a Golf R.

Did you get the automatic? Like that they brought over last year's Europe only wheels.

Yes, the DSG 6 speed. The wheels are 20.5 lbs each and are Pretorias. At $726, they are not cheap.

Those wheels look so much better than the ones on last year's version.
