Default Traded in the 2016 C7 for.....

Traded in my 2016 Corvette yesterday.
I test drove a 2017 Z06, but 650hp and Rear Wheel drive is no fun until spring in the cold NE.
So, I got practical, I traded my 2016 Vette and my 2016 Nissan Rogue for a 2015 Nissan GTR with 5K miles, it was a dealer demo and still has the full warranty intact except for 3 months.
They even threw in a set of all-season radials so I can drive it in the winter.
This car is awesome, 30 degree temps and even on summer tires I was able to give full throttle rides to my family with no worries.
Even my C7 would be dangerous in those temps.
I am sure I will own a Vette again, but for now I had to be practical.
I do realize it does not look nearly as nice as a Vette.

Yes - that is super practical. Very good of you to think of family first.

Don't give me that much credit
However, one less insurance payment, a lower monthly payment, and an extra spot in the driveway will be nice.

The Z06 was gorgeous, but on my test drive I could not even begin to explore the power in 40 degree temps

I will give the interior the nod over the Vette, the leather is super soft and the seats are much more comfortable.

That is a beautiful interior for sure, and those GTRs are beasts off the line, that should provide you with tons of fun! Enjoy!

I have not tried launch control yet, big difference 0-60 2.9 vs 3.9 without.
There is a lot of turbo lag without it, but it is hard on the car, 3.9 is still fast enough to handle most cars.

Last time I had a 4wd performance car I had a set of Blizzaks for the winter. Great tires!

The funny thing is, the stock C7 was a scarier car to go full throttle in.

The revisions to the GTR seem to be very minimal over the years (visually - idk about the engine and such). Do the older gtr's have interior like that?? As others have said, it looks great!
