You write the check or make the payment for whatever you want in your garage. Be happy with what you have. There will always be something faster/more expensive/ who cares.
and there is going to be allot of crying(especially on this forum ) when the demon comes out, the OP original post is spot on, the code name for the car around dodge was ADR, But the car is called the dodge demon.
Challenger body with different hood , fender flares to tuck in the stock 315 18 inch nitto drag radials, factory race tune(push button on the dash)
This thing is going to terrorize the streets

"Terrorize the streets".....and curbs, sign posts, light poles, guard rails.... Just cuz you can write a check for it, doesn't mean you can drive it!

Place your bets....how short after the first delivery will be the first total?

That happens in all cars with big power, doesn't matter what brand car... most people buy these cars can't drive, but are great at quoting magazine times.. back to topic... this car is going to kick some butt.

I promise you the Demon is AWD. Its got 315's front and rear - which is the same setup as the Jeep Trackhawk. Why not? They paid for the R&D to build an AWD Hellcat Jeep, just stick another body on it, save some weight and share the love. Not to mention, no manufacturer would use the same tire front and rear like that for the sake of driveability UNLESS they needed to get power down with 'em. (Remember what the C4 was like before they staggered the tire sizes?) If it were truly just going to be a drag car they'd use smaller tires up front rather than larger. PLUS they already have a baby AWD Demon in the current AWD Challenger which should sell really well to the 'I'll make my own Demon on the cheap' crowd.

Its AWD. Has to be.

I know the track hawk will be awd don't think the demon will be , although it's not very far fetched as dodge is already advertising the 4 wheel challenger hemi , all the info I read states the demon has 315's in the rear and 285's in the front ... I could be wrong(hope I am0 , I do know that the tires are specially made for the demon by nitto.

The 5th gen Z28 had 305s all around. The C4 didn't switch to staggered tires to improve handling, it actually made it worse. They changed the C4 because they also changed the front suspension and so they had to change the tires.

I have no idea if it's awd or not. It have drag radials on all 4 tires seems to support it, but I could see them doing it because there's probably legal implications for it.

If it was AWD, it wouldn't need 315 DR'S all around to put down 700hp. Or even 800 or 900. Smaller tires that weren't DR'S put down 350 per tire, awd would mean each better and wider tire is dealing with less than 300 hp each, potentially a lot less.

If the demon is awd....it's going to make the internet a salty place for a while unless the price is totally outrageous.
