GM, Cadillac has a program that allows you to " borrow " ( rent ) one of the companies 10 Cadillac models, then trade it in as many as 18 times per year. All in cost is $500 to join the program, and $1500 per month. No contract, all insurance included, unlimited miles, $750 accident deductible. They deliver and pick up at your location. Interesting program,wonder why it was offered?
I believe it has started in NYC.

IMO the program is targeted at higher-end European car model buyers to get them to try Cadillac products.

Cadillac feels there's a market for this. An Escalade lease all in is about 1k per month. Yeah it's more but includes insurance and unlimited mileage. Insurance in NJ is about 1800 per year. I see this working for two kinds of people...the very wealthy who don't care about money and a person that drives 40k miles per year that gets reimbursed for mileage. If one gets paid by their company 50 cents per mile that's 20k per year. Costs 18k per year for Cadillac Book so you have an extra 2k a year to buy gas. Yes, you can buy a cheap car and make money off the mileage or you can ride in style, change cars when you want to and never pay for a repair including tires and brakes.
