Callaway SC560 Escalade - Motorweek Video Review
Ready for some serious muscle?
MotorWeek reviews the latest from Callaway Cars, the Callaway SC560 Escalade ESV SportTruck, which delivers 560 supercharged horsepower with our GenThree Supercharger at the keystone to its performance.
Over a 1/2 second quicker in the quarter mile (and 7mph faster in the E.T., as well), the Callaway SC560 Escalade's tires scream as they try to connect, despite the tire shredding torque of our package.
The package is applicable to ALL new/current Gen Full Size GM Trucks and SUVs.
Check out the clip here:
And to get behind the wheel of a Callaway SportTruck or SUV of your own, please drop us a note: info@callawaycars.com

14.0@102mph???? There are stock tests that have regular wheelbase Denalis (basically the same vehicle) running 14.0-14.2@99-100mph. Not sure what the conditions/DA were when this test was done but these are not impressive results considering the supercharger/increased HP.

This was an ESV, and not a "regular wheel base AWD Denali". Just a bit of difference there.
In the video, you can clearly see it being tested in RWD, or 2wd mode, with plenty of wheel spin. But the guys doing the test were impressed nonetheless, and perhaps it was due to one of them having a Yukon XL 6.2L, and being able to feel the difference throughout the range of operation.
Thank you again for watching

Also the ESV weighs about 500lbs more than the Denali.

Thanks - and you bring up an interesting point - on how widely varied "reports" can be.

I wasn't trying to come off as a jerk or anything, I know that testing conditions can vary greatly. In stock form in 2wd the truck will blaze the tires from a standstill. Putting the TC in 4 auto mode eliminates wheel spin. Was the test vehicle an early model with the 6 speed or did it have the 8 speed?
Agreed, tires could be seen blazing. Fun, but not as fast... as auto/awd.
