Default Covered Bridge Tour May15...who's going from Hillsboro/Beaverton/Portland area?

My wife and I plan on going on the tour next Saturday. Who's going from the Hillsboro/Beaverton/Portland area? maybe we could all caravan. If some of you are already planning on meeting somewhere then I would like to join. If so, where & when?

I don't know if Mary and I can make it yet. It may be last minute but if we do go we will meet everyone at the rest area.

Curvette1 and I aren't leaving Beaverton until about 7:45 a.m. for and 8:30ish arrival in Keizer....so probably won't see the Aurora rest area crowd.

Looking forward to this....

I am calling it linner, part lunch, part dinner.

Actually, we will be stopping at Larwood Park right down the road from the bridge about half way through, so that would be a great time to snack.

It has a HUGE parking lot.

We are bringing some snacks for the drive since the "Linner" is around 3pm. I'm sure some of these bridge stops will have a place to take a snack break right?

If not at a bridge, we will find a place to pull over somewhere else if you would like.

A few of the bridges for sure we can stop at, but some of them are drive through and very narrow roads, but there is hardly any traffic on them or at least the times I have driven them there hasnt been.

That was during nastier weather though, so hard to say what the traffic will be like, but this is mostly farm land and trees, so we will just have to wait and see.
