Hawaii vettes. Wheres everyone hiding
Have seen a few c6s driving around. Any meets ups that happen in the daylight hours? Also I'm aware of the bigger corvette club but am looking for something not formal

Would love to do the drive around the island in a Vette. But then a drive up to Haleakala or Hana would be fun too

Well, NEX parking lot on weekend nite is popular for current and ex military.
Appeared both 35th SS and SlammedC5 frequent ls1tech military section, Hawaii posting. They are also CF member and ex military.
35th SS pops up more often there. I supposed he would be the guy to get in touch for more informal get together.
Hope that helps you to make your stay here in Hawaii a little more enjoyable.

We lived Maui (Pukalani) for 10yrs and never saw a Vettte. We got ours after we moved here. Maybe vacation there next year (2014 Caravan this year!!) How many clubs in the Islands?? The Big Island is my favorite!! Would love to do the drive around the island in a Vette. But then a drive up to Haleakala or Hana would be fun too

I have seen a C7 on the road in downtown Honolulu.

When I went to Oahu with my wife a couple years ago, she was teaching at a conference so I went to the "big" annual auto show they were holding. At the same time, the local Corvette club was having a car show. I met several Corvette owners (not surprisingly, very nice people) who get together for cruises & such. I can't recall the name of the club but I believe it was a sister chapter to our Corvette Marque Club in the Seattle area.

Has anyone else in Hawaii seen a new C7 on the road yet? Not sure how many have been sold yet.
I sat in one at the First Hawaiian Auto Show, seemed like there was plenty of interest.
I'm glad they allowed people to sit in the C7.
I also sat in the new Jaguar F-type and it was nice looking but not as good as the C7.
I sat in the Maserati Ghibli and it wasn't very roomy, seemed cramped.
