Default SMOG testing in Skagit County

I'm planning on moving to Washington State from Phoenix and was wondering if my modified C6 Z06 would pass testing in Skagit county. I looked at the website and it stated that Skagit is smog exempt, but is there an initial test for out of state vehicles?

My car isn't trailing smoke, but it does have a ECS supercharger, cam, heads, headers, and a tune.

I do not know if you have to do a smog test but I think you most likely do not. However, do not worry about it ay all. 1996 and up cars are just checked to see if any emission related codes are set. No visual inspection or tailpipe sniffing is done. Do not clear your codes before the test or you will get a not ready response when the codes are read and will fail.

Great, thanks! It's like Arizona then, we just plug in an OBD II to see if there are codes.

I found this link when moving up here:

http://www.emissiontestwa.com/e/ZipC...ip_codes07.pdf

I am in Whatcom County but it is the same as Skagit; no emmisions testing.

We moved several vehicles here from Kalifornia and didn't have to do any test at all to register them.

You should be good man!

Sorry for waking up this two years old post...I just got a car from WI which does not require emission test. The corvette I have is supercharged, bigger injectors, custom exhaust with all the sensors. It is a 2006 so first question is do I need the inspection or no? If yes, anyone know any place might be able to help passing the emission part?

Probably

www.carbconn.com They are a certified emissions station. Talk to Alex the owner. He was able to get my highly modified Lingenfelter twin turbo to pass with no issues.
