I'm in....let's do this damn thing! SUPERMAN EDITION will be loud and proud.....unless my baby momma, daughter, girlfreind(s) tell me otherwise.....
What time are we thinking of arriving.....? 8:00....9:00? We all agree Mark needs his beauty sleep.
Hey Fred.....are you gonna be able to join us?

Damn! I've been working like a fiend possessed on the C6 Aero Lightweight all week. I've gone over every inch of the car with every product that Griot's Garage offers and a few that we used on the boats. The car glows, even in the sunlight, as if was embedded with relics of the "True Cross" I have taken Q-tips to each groove in the tires. Based on recommendations i've received via this forum, I have polished the glass with at least 4 different types of glass cleaner. Including one I had to smuggle into the country to avoid the endangered species laws. I have actually bruised my knuckles trying to reach through a window that was so clean, I didn't realize it had been up.
I have purchased about a dozen red C6 models and have found the Voodoo pins I bought in New Orleans (actually they're toothpicks from the Hurricane Bar on Bourbon street) I have contracted with a professional sign maker to make sure all onlookers understand just what an historically significant Corvette this is. Oh, and add my wife's name as co-owner as if she really cared and actually helped prpare the car for show. Hmmm, wonder where she put her camp chair?
But now I can't find my folding camp chair. Quite possibly the most important implement to any serious Corvette owner waiting around long enough looking for an award.
I'll continue to look, but don't have high hopes at this point. There is no way I dare show the C6 Aero lightweight (one of 42) without my camp chair with cup holder.
I probably won't enter the annual event this year.... But I'll likely drop by in my Mazda just to allow some of you to offer condolences over the loss of my camp chair.
Maybe next year.
Walter, are you going to bring anything... hint hint, know what I mean?

Great day and another nice event by the Marque Club and the XXX!
Brad, Mike & Sue, and Aaron all walked away with some nice acknowledgement. I won a new category...Most Obscene Acts with a Duster.
Anyway, nice to see some old friends and meet several new ones!

Very nice to meet you too Jim....I'm thankful Joe went out to track you down....sorry we didn't do it sooner!
Too bad you didn't get to meet Phil.....on second thought, never mind.
Phil is an acquired taste, like a fine single malt, or really old really sh--ty cheese.

Win or not Walter I think that your car was the hit of the show. Surely admired this day more than any other at the meet. I think that for many regular people it was their first chance to see the new vette and in a very nice position in the lot for people to admire.
Aaron while you were gone one of the judges came over and was really admiring your car said it was one of the nicest hoods he had ever seen.
Sorry I didn't get to see a LRG. Wanted to know if its worth saving my pennies for.
