Everyone's cars looked great! It really was darn hard to pick out favorites from such a fine bunch. Had to walk around 3 times (as if i wasn't going to already hehe) to make sure I got the right cars for the right categories.

What a great day....fine weather, good friends both old (!) and new and of course lots of fun admiring all the Vettes. I just took a few pics, but here they are:

I rarely take a picture of myself with another Vette, but I really liked this color combination of cyber grey, the chrome wheels and the ebony interior. I sent my nephew this picture and told him that if I had to have a C7, it might look just like this one.

Now if I can only erase from my memory the image of Walt using Mike's California Duster in that 'creative manner', all will be well.

Had such a blast today! I drove my c5 and my dad (Larry Webb) drove the 57 Fuel injected c1 that he bought brand new in 1957 and was the original owner. He stayed in touch with the owners as it has passed from collection to collection.

That's why I don't show up anymore often than I do. They make me feel like Rodney Dangerfield.

Jeez, Larry Webb? I wonder how many people are aware of how significant your Dad has been to racing? Nor just in Corvettes (and Cheetahs, among other great marques)

Anyone ever heard of Alan Green Chevrolet, S&S Dyno tune in Burien, Dan Gurney's All-American Racers, the Can Am series...?

Had I known Larry was there, I would have sought him out. I think he was even at my wedding so many years ago.

Sorry I missed meeting him again after so many years. Of course I probably wouldn't have recognized him anyway.

Do you think he might be talked into an informal GTG sometime with a few of us just to share his experiences?

I would have given him a trophy just for being there. To my mind, he's a legend.

It has nothing to do with a compact Plymouth, does it?

Absolutely! He would love to do a GTG. We can workout a place and time. One gentleman asked my brother and I if we were in line to talk to him. I appreciate your kind words!

I have had the pleasure of working on various projects with Larry, about 30 years worth, and I have learned a wealth of knowledge from it. He is really one neat guy!

Great show and good time as usual. Congrats to those trophy hounds!

It was also nice to chat with Larry about his original 57 Corvette...you could tell it meant a lot to him. Great color combination and all the right options. I'm glad we all had the opportunity to see the car and chat.

Some of us old-timers already do....although we never use them. Here's mine from about 10 years ago when we first started this informal PNW Puget Sound area Corvette Forum group. A member named Trigger Creep was the one who gathered all the information and took care of getting these made...

Looks like it was a great turn out. Everyone's cars looked awesome! Even the grump Poodle Girl.

Sorry but my paint is roached and not showable.. Maybe next year.

Thanks for making an appearance for the Forum Folks...

My favorite that day:

Does it belong to someone in the forum?

I'm wondering if it was a C6 Z06 with a 1958-1960 body or a restored C1 with Z06 drive train. Either way I thought it was very well put together. I just needs white wall tires.

The CRM C7 in the back was awesome. The color matched diffuser really set it apart.

I don't have any details about the car, but after looking at it, I believe it is a resto-modded C1. I would assume there is a custom frame to support the power that the Z06 drive train delivers.
