Won't make it this year, will be at the Corvette Museum Anniversary in BG.
So the 2 trophies I won last year can go to someone else

Just wondering. I might enter this year, again, but not with the notion of receiving an award, but some people probably do? So how does one prepare for attempting to win an award?

In your case just tell the registration folks you want to be entered in the C6 Aero Lightweight class. If you have documentation I don't see how they can refuse you. Unless one of the other 41 cars show up you will have another trophy for the mantel. Your welcome.

Good idea Pat, and of course I can provide documentation, but if memory serves, there is no class for C6 Aero Lightweights. Maybe at Bloomington Gold or at Carlisle, but I'm sure there is no C6 Aero Lightweight (one of 42, by the way) class at the XXX.
But you raise a good point, most of the other Aero Lightweights went to the west coast so maybe somebody might drive their's up here from California (there are none in Oregon) so maybe I should consider washing mine at least, huh?
Nahhhhh, I'm very shy as you know and would probably faint if I had to get up in front of a large crowd and accept an award. I'm sure you'll understand.
