If any of your kids are looking for a fun car, the SVT Focus will be up for sale soon cheap reliable fun transportation. Just not a track weapon like the C4.
An SVT Focus? Okay, you're one of us. My friend in Bay St Louis on the gulf coast has two of them. He's an old Lotus racer and had the nerve to take his Shelby GT350 with him when he served in Germany. If he says the SVT Focus (Foci?) is great, then it is.

Stay with this thread. you need to make this trip. Bring one of the Focus SVTs so everyone can see how far fun cars have become.

After talking with the people at the Lodge it is my understanding that all bluff side cabins have carports. The cabins farther back from the ocean do not.

Hey JET. Are you going to the Corvette and HP Swap meet? We are coming up Feb 7 for the day. Look for a C7 Laguna blue with license AH6LE. Might have some of the other MHCC members with us. One of our ex-members has a booth there every year.

Probably not this year. Have another set of Safe Racks to install in the garage, and need to soon start modding the Vette. (have Heat/Noise insulation kit to install, plus new Audio) and the M3 needs attention soon again, the weather up here seems to take a toll on its old hinges and door handles. Great fun!

Bump for the new members who might want to join this little summertime cruise...

Days are getting longer, sun is shining brighter, good times ahead...

Hey just finally saw this.

I ended up selling for SVT, I have driven FWD cars and really wanted my toy car to be V8 RWD (manual of course), so I kept the Vette. Prepping it for paint now.

New baby comes in 17 days, but maybe next year my oldest daughter and I could do this trip, it would be fun to have a 3.5 year old along right?

I thought I would bring this up to the top again. Come on, people. We want more of you to sign up for a good 2 day drive around the peninsula. The more that go the better it is.

Laguna blue Z51. Carbon Fiber dash surround so you know it's fast.

I figured it was time to bring this to the top. A lot of the people who said they may be interested have not made reservations yet.
Come on, guys. I made reservations and some of you know what a "FRUGAL" person I am. Go ahead and make those reservations and join us on what should be a great 2 day drive around the peninsula.

Thanks Keith for the bump.

It's a great midweek drive with very little traffic and those roads are beckoning!

I'm unfortunately out on this run. Just not able to do a midweek outing. Work, it's always getting in the way!

Default With Regrets

Sorry, but as plans for the Unlimited racing season become better known, I'm afraid Mary (that's my first wife, which some of you have met) and I are not going to be able to make this one. I had planned to use her fear of Walter as an excuse, but now she's starting to like him.

If things change we'll try and find a room.

OK guys, this is getting closer. If you have not done so sign up now. I think I will be bringing the red convertible I recently bought. It is a very nice driving car and much different from my Z06 or the 1991.
