SCCA Solo National championships - follow from home.
Hi all,
Well I made it to bowling green with the caravan and headed back to Lincoln, NE. where the national championships are. I already ran the Pro Solo Finale where I took 2nd in class after leading most the event.
The nationals are up next. Half the folks ran yesterday and today, the other half like me run Thursday Friday.
NW corvette People of note all in C5Z's
Ryan Otis - AS #80
Glen Hernandez - AS #179
Jami Olerich - ASL #79
Jami is driving my car in her first nationals and probably the person you all know the best if your have done corvette autocrosses. My car is different than the fire breathing C6 that she is used to but she is adapting to it well for the limited time she has in the car. (Today at practice was only her 3rd day in the car)
We all run on the West course Thursday and the East course Friday.
Ryan and I run heat 3
Jami runs heat 5
Heat 3 on Thursday should start around 12-12:30 cst which would be 10-10:30am pst. (Friday will be an hour earlier)
Heat 5 should be about 3:30pm cst which would be about 1:30pm pst. (Friday will be an hour earlier)

Results in a sorted format that seems to be easier to absorb and auto refreshes.

Thanks for the support!
Results…
Well we had a fun time and I think that Jami learned a lot. She was a cone away from her first (of many) trophy at nationals!!
Ladies…
A Street Ladies
1st Lacey Otis!! (by .037 over the odds on favorite!)
4th Jami Olerich (one place out of trophies)
Open
A Street
1st Mark Daddio (Alien)
2nd Ryan Otis
3rd Glen Hernandez (me) (of note I had fastest time in class the 2nd day)
6th trophy for Jim Daniels of Oregon in my car (his D Prepared miata blew the motor on his first practice run.)
Jami and I will be out this weekend at the Viper Club and Corvette club events.
