Maryhill Loops Tour 2014

This was with the PAC NW Audi Club. It's an annual tour so you can look for it on motorsportsreg.com, but you'll need to be an Audi Club member to participate in it.
Once the registration opens it fills up in about 3 days typically. I was #34 out of 40 registrants. We ended up with less than 30 cars with many cars being driven by 2 people. They do 2 run groups so you can let your better half drive in one group while you drive in the other. You can get about 7 runs in as long as things run smoothly. I only did 5 runs and then left for the beach right afterwards.
Unfortunately the start stop on my GoPro somehow got confused and I only recorded this first run up the hill. I did record the last drive down with the top off and the camera mounted on top so you can get a different perspective of the road.

On that run I peeked. That stretch where I missed the shift to 3rd I saw 90 before braking.
I don't think I did much more than that.
Off the start I went easy at first and gradually put my foot into it. On a couple runs I shifted into third before backing off. 2nd red lines at 74 mph iirc. 1st red lines at 50 mph.
Most of the runs I just held 2nd gear and only shifted on the one stretch up to 3rd and back down.
It was a tour and not a rally or hillclimb

That is a very fun hill. I just competed in a hillclimb there sept 11&12th the weekend before. They timed you and had a radar gun set up on that straight stretch. I made 4 runs on Saturday and 4 on Sunday. There were 60 competitors that weekend. It was a awesome time. I was running my 89 c4.
