Default My 2015 Z06 build status has moved to 2000!!! Had to make some order changes though

Evidently not everyone is able to get the Z07 on the first round (my dealer can't) and even though I originally wanted the Z07 package I thought long and hard about this and for me personally it's not a deal breaker for me......if no manual trans was available this is a deal breaker, if the Z07 package had more HP this would be a deal breaker but this simply isn't the case.

Now that the DSOM pic's are out I also changed my order from TR to DSOM. I also changed from Carbon Flash to Carbon Visible and selected black calipers since I don't want red calipers clashing with the DSOM exterior. My plan is to add additional CF parts as they are available to swap out the carbon flash painted parts so that the car has most everything matching. Here's a summary of the revised order below:

It looks like there are four optional colors for the calipers but I'm wondering what the standard color is?

Throw in the 9.6% sales tax for a total of $106,563. I think I'll pass.

After trade-in of my 2011Z it should be in the mid 50's range (still a hell of a lot, I agree!)

As how the new Z is supposed to surpass the ZR1, if you look at it from purely a performance point of view the price isn't all that bad and you can personalize it a bit more than the ZR1 and also pop the top if the mood strikes you. Still waiting for the road tests.

And he splits the difference between Red and Yellow by going "Orange".

Looks good John! Looking forward to seeing it.

I registered my 13 Z in Texas after I bought it. Still have an address down there. 6%, I'll get Wa plates when they expire being as I won't have to transfer title from what they told me. Just have the bank fax them a copy and it's like 65$

Excellent news - progress is being made. I'm still at least a year out on my order but can't wait to see it in person, especially the orange.
