Default Great Weather This Coming Weekend

Looks like Indian Summer. Forecast calls for sunny and 70* on Saturday. One last chance for a cruise in/drive. So whats happening on Saturday?

Bud Anderson (American Fighter Ace) pilot of Old Crow P-51 will be speaking at the museum of flight at 2:00. I'm not sure yet I'll be going, but can provide you with guest passes if you want to attend.

One of my clubs is doing our Fall Tour this weekend (Grants Pass, Crater Lake and Bend).

Should be a great end-of-season run!

Oh, almost forgot... The Hydro Museum is taking over some vintage hydros to Lake Chelan this weekend for the annual Mahogany and Merlot event. I believe that the vintage unlimiteds will run both Saturday and Sunday.

We'll be at Chelan this Saturday for Mahogany & Merlot. Lunch up at Sorrento's then down to the lake for the afternoon. Sally is flying into WEN Saturday morning from MN and will be meeting me in Chelan.

Also Avions-Voison, Delahaye, Delage, Hispano-Suiza, DeDion-Bouton, Panhard&Levassor, Leon Bollee, Mors, Darracq, Talbot-Lago, Unic, Hotchkiss, Ballot, Amilcar, Salmson, along with a few hundred other French cars.
At one time we had a 1939 Delage D6-75 Drophead de Ville custom bodied by Coachcraft of London. It was 1 of 2 D6-75s in the USA and one of about 100 Delage cars known to exist.

Why am I not surprised my erudite friend? Might prove to be a very interesting show.

(Look it up Poodle Girl, don't call me this time, okay?)

Erudite-: having or showing knowledge that is gained by studying : possessing or displaying erudition <an erudite scholar> aka having one's head up one's ***.

So once again Phil, you've instigated and incited behaviors that are gonna get us kicked off the Forum. Moderators, seriously Phil started it....he always starts it.....

Me thinks thou has - or is it hath? -, again, overreacted. Yes, I confess I may have instigated the discussion, but.... so what?

I need another hydro project to keep me away from this forum. Maybe I'll resume my door-to-door pet cemetery. This truly happened and my partner from the 4th grade has contacted me so, who knows. At least we'll be better capitalized this time.

What does Fred mean by Indian Summer? I thought such a time required first a frost... Political correctness suggests he might have been better served by referring to it as an Aboriginal Autumn.

Just saying....

Default Another Idea

Nearly forgot that this weekend is the annual Salmon Days festival in Issaquah. Typically the last community street and crafts fair of the year year. Parade starts at 10am along Gilman Blvd.

Goes through Sunday.

Just a thought.
