It may have started there. A number of TSD rallies did over the years. Since it was organized and run by CMCS though I suspect it started somewhere closer to Seattle.
I was hoping some CMCS member would read this thread and tell me more about the event.

I was in high school in 69 and tried to attend as many of the rallies as I could. There are still a lot of Marque members around the area. I was a member of Classical Glass club in the 70's.
